Pasteon
Clipboard collection tool for Mac

Collect copied items across apps. Use the batch when you are ready.

Pasteon Collect Mode keeps each new text-based clip in one temporary collection while you continue working. Finish once, review the order, then merge, copy, or paste the batch without searching through clipboard history.

Real Collect Mode workflow

The demo starts a collection, captures a series of copied items, reviews their order, and turns selected items into a Merge Paste result.

How Collect Mode works

Keep copying. Pasteon keeps the current batch together.

Collect Mode adds a lightweight layer over normal clipboard history. It remembers which clips belong to this task and the order in which you collected them.

01

Start collecting

Start from the menu bar or Pasteon window. Collection begins with the next item you copy, not the current clipboard.

02

Copy across apps

Move through websites, spreadsheets, documents, and tools as usual. The floating panel shows the latest item and total count.

03

Review the collection

Finish collecting to inspect each item, remove anything unnecessary, and put the batch in the order your destination needs.

04

Choose the output

Send the ordered items to Merge Paste or Paste Queue, or copy the entire text batch in one action.

From collection to action

Gather first. Decide how to use it afterward.

Collection Review keeps capture separate from execution, so you can organize the material before choosing the shape that fits the destination.

01

Merge Paste

Combine selected items with a new line, blank line, space, comma, or custom separator, then preview the result.

02

Start Paste Queue

Turn the ordered collection into a queue and paste one value at a time with visible progress and navigation controls.

03

Copy All

Write the complete text collection back to the clipboard using the selected separator, ready for another app.

04

Continue Collecting

Return to capture mode when the batch is incomplete, without discarding the items already collected.

Cross-app collection

Useful when the source is scattered but the result belongs together.

Collect Mode is designed for short research and data-gathering sessions where repeatedly reopening clipboard history would interrupt the work.

01

Contact details

Gather names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses from a website, spreadsheet, CRM, and notes before filling the destination.

02

Research and writing

Collect quotes, links, headings, and references from multiple sources, then arrange them before moving into a document.

03

Developer context

Keep paths, URLs, JSON values, identifiers, and terminal output together while investigating or documenting a task.

04

Operations and admin

Collect labels, account details, product values, or form data from several systems before entering or sharing the batch.

Temporary by design

The collection is temporary. Your clipboard history is not.

Collect Mode organizes references to clips already captured by Pasteon. Finishing or canceling the collection does not remove those items from normal clipboard history.

Normal history continues

Every accepted item still enters regular clipboard history, so it remains searchable after the collection ends.

Visible collection status

A lightweight floating panel stays above your work without taking focus and shows the latest clip and item count.

Clear collection boundary

Collect Mode starts with the next copy, supports pausing, and stops at 100 items to keep accidental sessions under control.

FAQ

Collect Mode questions

What is Pasteon Collect Mode?

Collect Mode is a temporary clipboard workspace. After you start it, each supported item you copy is added to an ordered collection that you can review and send to Merge Paste, Paste Queue, or Copy All.

Does Collect Mode replace clipboard history?

No. Collected items continue to enter normal Pasteon clipboard history. The collection only keeps the task-specific order and grouping.

Does Collect Mode include the current clipboard automatically?

No. Collection begins with the next copy after you start it. Use Add Current Clipboard when you intentionally want to include the item already on the clipboard.

Which clipboard types can Collect Mode gather?

The current version supports text-based content: Text, URL, JSON, Markdown, HTML, Color, Date, and Timestamp. Images, files, and video are not collected.

How many items can one collection contain?

A collection can contain up to 100 items. Pasteon pauses collection at the limit so an accidental session does not continue growing.

What can I do after collecting the items?

You can reorder or remove items, continue collecting, combine them with Merge Paste, copy the batch, or start Paste Queue for sequential pasting.

Stop searching for the clips you just copied.

Download Pasteon for Mac and keep your next cross-app batch together from the first copy to the final paste.
